A solid sterling replica of an Ammonite Negative is captured in a hand fabricated sterling setting and completed with a 2mm faceted rhodolite garnet set in the center of the pendant.

Ammonite negatives are not cast from the actual ammonite fossils themselves, but they are specimens that show the indentations that ammonite fossils create on the matrix rock surrounding them. They are quite literally where these ancient creatures rested for millions of years before excavation.

Pendant is complete with a handmade sterling bail and swings from an 16” or 18” sterling snake chain.
